Confidentiality
Discretion is at the heart of executive search. At the senior and C-suite level, both the decision to hire and the decision to explore a new role are highly sensitive. M&Z Consulting is built around protecting that confidence for every candidate and client we work with.
Why Senior Mandates Are Not Publicly Advertised
Most of the mandates we handle are confidential by design. A company replacing a sitting executive, entering a new market, or quietly building a leadership team often cannot announce the search without commercial or organisational risk. For this reason we rarely advertise senior roles publicly. Instead, we approach a carefully researched shortlist directly and discreetly, so the right opportunity reaches the right people without exposing our client's intentions.
Protecting Candidate Confidence
Many of the leaders we speak with are successfully employed and are not actively looking. We treat every conversation as confidential. Your interest in a role, your CV and your career history are never shared with a prospective employer without your knowledge, and we agree with you in advance which details may be disclosed and when. We do not circulate your profile speculatively or use your name to win business.
Protecting Client Confidence
We are equally careful with our clients. The identity of a hiring organisation, the reasons behind a search and the terms of a mandate are shared with candidates only at the appropriate stage, and only as needed. Where a search is especially sensitive, we can conduct initial discussions on a no-names basis until genuine mutual interest is established.
Non-Disclosure and Discreet Handling
We are comfortable working under mutual non-disclosure agreements with both clients and candidates, and we can sign a client's own NDA where required. Confidential information is shared internally on a strict need-to-know basis, stored securely, and kept only as long as necessary. For us, discretion is not a formality; it is how senior search should be done.
